Big Canyon Ranch May 2020

This was our 8th annual work weekend at BCR. BCR is a Christian based retreat center whose mission is "to create unique experiences that enable life-changing encounters with Jesus Christ." We look forward to the BCR event weekend every year, as we get together to serve, fellowship worship and hear God's word! This year, we had some amazing projects. We put up a cross on the hillside, which can be seen from the camp and light up at night. 10-15 participants helped carry the cross (in pieces) about 1.5 miles from the camp to assemble and raise it. We also built a bridge that crosses a creek on the property. It was dedicated to a volunteer who had passed away and it was named after her, "The Brooklyn Bridge." Fence posts around the volleyball courts, and a soccer field were installed, and well as enlarged the memory wall
